Fantasy Novel

Notes 50 mins, 2004
Classification SF
Synopsis Two strange characters, one a man, Retro, with a television for a head, the other a woman, Pandy, with eyes of different colours, find themselves lying naked in a field. They have no memory of how they got there. Seconds later they are clothed, stealing a car, killing a cop and conducting a running battle with the entire police force of a city. They are captured and sent to a prison on the Moon. And that's just the pre-credit sequence. There follows a prison break, which fills the bulk of the video with a non-stop orgy of cartoonish violence, with episodes of explicit cartoonish sex. It carries on in this breathless fashion right to the end.
Review Definitely not one for children or the easily offended. It looks great, and the frantic action, like an American cartoon, is totally over the top. Very enjoyable if you like this sort of video, but if you're looking for depth, there's not much of it there.
