Synopsis Set in a fantasy version of Miami. The heroine is girl cop Yao Sakurakoji, a spoiled beauty who thinks highly of her super abilities but is prepared to do anything to impress. She is teamed with the police commisioner's daughter Ru, who does everything by the book.
Review "Miami Guns" is another comedy and at first glance, seems to be a clone of "You're Under Arrest", but it doesn't take long to see that this is something very different and very twisted. This show is a little more "conventional" ( using that word very carefully here ) than "Super Milk-chan", but it is just as funny and strange in its own way.
There is also a lot of cheerfully blatant "fan service" and all sorts of ogling of the girls by the cops, media and even the robber. This is not a "politically correct" series. As I mentioned, I didn't see the opening of the show, but the ending was a bit different - the group singing the closing song was featured in a video into which were interspersed an animated still shot of one of the girls ( naked from the rear ) onto which the credits were added. I've got to think this has got to be a "late night" show. BTW - the animation for the first show was really good - on the par with better OAV's. But from the preview of the second episode it looks like the animation will go back to "TV average".
