Synopsis
Review This is the continuation of the long running robot TV anime show, Transformer. This should be called a Koreanime rather than Japanese animation. There is a studio credit of Studio Gallop and the name of the director, Tsuji Hatshuki (Hime-chan no Ribbon) but I am sure he doesn't to be associated with the production. All the production seems to be undertaken in Korea.
And the content. Even this was merely a 30 minutes robot toy commercial, nothing is poorer than this. Cheap budget, senseless cutting, meaningless presentation, flat voice acting and ugly robots.. This shows how anime could become ruined if there was no will for creativity. It is representative of the poor Korean animation and it was since 80s when I watched such poor stuff. Audiences should not waste their viewing time for this. May be suitable for the person who wish to feel miserable and masochistic. Rating D.

...The next show was an absolute travesty called "Transformers Car Roboto". Yes, another variation on the "Transformers" franchise has crawled out from the slime at the bottom of some marketer's cesspool. This was too horrible to watch, even at fast forward speed. It's really only for the truly mentally challenged, but I bet it shows up on Saturday morning cartoons sooner than we think ( or fear ).

But a few like this stuff:
comment=Oh dear, Oh dear - having just read the comments on the TV Show Car Robots - I was rather amused for two reasons-
1) Korean Animation is bad ? since when everseen the Batman Animated series ?
over stating it a bit saying all Korean Shows are bad - I could just as easliy say all Japanese animation shows suffer from a terrible frame rate.
2) having seen 21 of the car Robot episodes to date I feel i kinda like it - it amuses me Speedbreaker is funny, Gelshark is demented - and Black Convoy is quite omminous - and leaves you wondering if he is gonna turn to good or allways be a blight on the name of Conovoy.
as For other aspects Team Shinkansen are visually interesting, zipping about on their 'hyper rails'.
and the way they freak people out when a trains -driving down the road ways is quite amusing.
the main hero Fire Convoy has engenious transformation and show a clever use of all his abilities - I particularly remember how he used his trailer to swing around and across a body of water.
the Villan Gigatron displays different powers and abilities - indeed personnalities in each of his 6 to 10 modes.
and is quite cool fella - in a self obessed thinks he is a god kinda way.
I would also say Transformers are often better looking Robots than Gundams are too - and Transform into better things then most Gundam are capable of - I prefer my robots to not all look identical except for detail & colour.
in general I undertand how some might not 'get' Car Robots but I can assure you there is entertainment to be had -particularly if you have soem knowledge of either Japanese or of The Transformer Universe.
- yes it is a toy commercial but I can contest they are damn good toys - so I'm not gonna blame it for advertising them.
besides - it's all over now - I think it's a new or rerun 'Brave' show next year.
