Synopsis | It's about a young man, YU Kananase, who joins a defense force and starts to learn how to command the mecha. (Dave Baranyi) The hero was an outlaw boy. He was
invited by his senior friend to I.M.O. (A planetary self defence force or
something). He had an examination to become a pilot of the force... |
Review | As soon as it started my immediate reaction was "Oh God, not another mecha show!" But unfortunately it was just that - "another" mecha show. Like innumerable other mecha shows. The character designs are nothing special for the most part, except for the female lead who is drawn in a quite unflattering manner. The animation in general is pedestrian and the music unremarkable. I guess if you uncritically like any mecha anime you might enjoy "Odion", but I told my friend not to bother to tape any more episodes for me. (Dave Baranyi)
A typical Obari Masami's(Dangaioh) show. All the effort was paid to
design stupid mechanics (a humanoid robot of course) and lacks
drama and story development. Presentation was flat and inappropriate.
Another cheap Evangelion clone. Poor value to watch. Rating C.
