Synopsis The harmony of the universe is becoming unbalanced. Minerals and plants transform into evil starmen and attack other planets.
Princess Aurora is charged with the task of restoring harmony, and sets off with her three companions in the spaceship Cosmos. Aurora will not allow any creatures who were originally peaceful to be killed.
Review An old anime featuring space adventure of a rather simplistic sort. Younger viewers might like it. For anyone else it is a curiousity.
In the episode I saw, the main characters discover another spacecraft whose two occupants,a man and a woman, are in suspended animation. Rather unwillingly, they disclose that they have fled from a planet where the inhabitants are terrorised by a giant sea- monster. To cut the story short, they fled because the girl was being offered as a sacrifice to the sea- monster. One of the main characters (Princess Aurora) takes her place, and the team defeats the monster, which turns out to be artificial and gives their combat aircraft a good seeing to. However a ray from Aurora's hairpiece deflates it, and it turns into a small sea-creature, too small to be worth the trouble of squashing underfoot.
