Synopsis Miracle giants domu kun is a typical sports anime. It's about a kid named Domu, who joins the Yomiuri Giants (a real Baseball team) because it was his father's last desire. Then he mets some rivals and makes lots of friends.

Review Clearly a baseball anime, with a rather young boy as the hero. It features a real baseball team, (the Yomiuri Giants). The other principal character is a teenage girl (called "Melody" in this Arabic edition) who is apparently a classical music star and also interested in sport. This is a lot of fun, (there is a scene where they swap clothes to evade some heavies) and if it had ever been fansubbed would be just as well-known as a lot of other second league anime, such as "I'll Make a Habit of it". [GC]

Domu's family
Domu Shinjoh: The main character, a 10 year old boy who lives with his mother and his teenager sister. His father, who was a great pitcher, taught him how to do a miraculous throw.
Yumeto Shinjoh: Domu's father, the best pitcher the Japanese league has ever had. He died due to an illness.
Mayumi Shinjoh: Domu's mother
Akane Shinjoh: Domu's older sister

Domu's rivals
Hiromitsu Ochiai: A real person. Domu's first hard rival.
Torao Tsutenkaku: Domu's second rival. He is another 10 year old kid, a computer genius.
Andy/ Melody Norman: An American little girl who disguises herself as a boy, because women can't play baseball in Japan. She is also Domu's love interest. One of my favorite characters. image: Melody

Paula Doodo: Domu's fourth rival. A Tongan guy who loves baseball, but also plays sumo.
Don Carlos: Domu's last and hardest rival. A spanish guy who wants revenge on domu's father. Also one of my favorites. image DonCarlos
There are more characters but they are not as important as the ones stated above.
