| Synopsis | Based on the series of novels by Akita Sadanobu titled "Majutsu-shi Ohfin Hagure-Tabi"
[loose translation: "Magic-User Orphin Solitary Travels"]. Orphen is a black sorcerer who has been hanging about a small town for a year. Some people think he's there to peep at girls. However, a monster known as "Bloody August" reappears and tries to seize a magical sword from the local chateau. Orphen knows who the monster really is (or was). Some other sorcerers have different ideas about how to deal with "Bloody August". A young apprentice and two sisters are also in the story. |
| Review | This isn't bad; it has action, comedy, and a promising storyline, plus the usual swords-and- sorcery stuff. Two female characters vie for the hero's attention. |
