Synopsis | This is set in a world where alchemy and magic are supposed to have some rational basis - you can't make something out of nothing and you can't get anything without sacrificing something in exchange. The heroes are brothers who have tried to use alchemy to resurrect their dead mother, with disastrous results. One, the Full Metal Alchemist, has lost limbs which are now replaced in metal, the other has lost everything except his soul which inhabits an empty suit of walking armour. The story is their efforts to undo the damage. They hear about a rule-breaking Ring of power and very much want to get their hands on it. |
Review | Quite entertaining, with amusing scenes and slightly cartoon-ish character designs. But not exceptional. |
