Synopsis Kunisaki Yukito is a traveller, who has a small puppet that works without strings. His journey takes him to a small seaside town, where he meets Misuzu, a girl who seems eager to become his friend. He stays at her house, an soon encounters some other oddball characters.

Review An off-the wall and indefinably charming series. While watching the first episode I realised Iwas already enveloped in these characters and their world. Good animation, nice theme music and some interesting characters, not least Misuzu's mother, a mototcycle-riding single parent who likes men and sake. Something odd going on in this town, but I have no idea what it is.
