Review ADVENTURE DUO #1,(Kiseki), 52 mins, cert 18, ｣9.99
Also known as Adventure Kid, this has been compared
with the Urotsuki Doji series. At any rate, several
minutes were cut out by the British censors, and having
read a synopsis of the cut material I can report that the
deletions seemed very unpleasant and I'm not sorry I
didn't have to view them. It has to do with a Second
World War computer and some nastiness stored on it.
Limited animation and designs, dullish story; for anime
sex & violence fans only.
A dubious mixture of sex comedy (very funny) and the sort of nasty stuff that makes one entirely sympathetic to the censors. The version you see will be somewhat snipped.

A.k.a. ADVENTURE KID - the title was changed at the insistence of the British censors on the grounds that the videos were totally unsuitable for kids.

By no means a great piece of anime, but has aroused much interest. I have only seen part 2 which is seemingly
typical of the other two. Nominally SF, it's purely an exercise in pornography, and an ill-judged misture at that.
The UK shop versions are probably substantially censored; but the original has a particularly disgusting sado-porn rape of the scientist's wife, and on the other hand also has some amusing erotica that should not offend the averagely broad-minded.
Not recommended unless you like erotica.
