| Synopsis | Complicated live story involving a young man and woman who travel
between two worlds, the present and a psuedo-ancient one where two
armies fight for dominance with tanks and swords. (KEM) Time - travelling lovers Katsumi and Sakura find themselves in the midst of Japan's medaeval civil war between the Heike and Genji clans. There is some sorcery too.(GC) |
| Review | Good fantasy anime but the love story is a bit overdone as is the
voice acting. (KEM) Rating *** First volume of adaptation of a popular manga series, seemingly about a group of young people who have a parallel existence in the past. The opening scene has a squad of medaeval warriors being routed by modern tanks, and there are equally dynamic and intriguing scenes, but I hadn't much idea what was supposed to be going on.(GC) |
