Synopsis | |
Review | A showcase for various directors' animation and storytelling talents. The bits that remain in the mind after many years are the opening credits grinding across the desert ('Opening'), the inventor and the robot girl ('Presence'), the cute girl at the funfair ('Starlight Angel') and the two steam-age robots ('A Tale of Two Robots') Note that many segments have minimal dialogue, which may ease the question of which version to buy. |
Credits | Direction: 'Opening' & 'Closing' by Atsuko Fukushima & Katsuhiro Otomo, 'Frankenstein's Gears' by Koji Morimoto, 'Deprive' by Hidetoshi Omori, 'Presence' by Yasunori Umetsu, 'Starlight Angel' by Hiroyuki Kitazume, 'Clouds' by Mao Lando, 'A Tale of Two Robots' by Hiroyuki Kitakubo, 'Nightmare' by Takashi Nakamura. |
