Synopsis The characters are all about two years older. Kyosuke and Madoka are about to find out their college entrance exam results. In an extended flashback, we see that the love triangle between Kyosuke, Madoka and Hikaru is finally resolved. (thus drawing a line under the TV series ad OVAs).

Review The first thing to note is that you are advised not to watch this unless you have watched several of the OVAs, or better still some of the TV series, so that you know who these people are and why they behave the way they do!
If you have, and are a fan of KOR, then read on.
The hero's magical powers are not mentioned at all, and the movie is more serious in tone than the OVAs & TV episodes. The animation quality is noticeably better than in the TV, allowing the young women to look quite feminine.
Particularly good is the depiction of the pain that follows the end of a relationship, wanting to talk to the loved one but being uable to do so, etc. If you are a fan of the series you'll find that this is an excellently scripted and sensitive conclusion, and is highly recommended for you.

Credits Dir: Osamu Kobayashi. Cast basically same as for the TV series.
