Review The characters are well-depicted and interesting, and it gives some insights into what Japanese kids actually do inside and outside school. Looks as though it tells you more about real Japanese school life than a BBC documentary. There's no continuing story; instead a typical episode focuses on one character. Some fans have called
To Heart "boring" and indeed certain episodes are so laid-back that they are almost taking the mickey out of all the other anime full of violence and sexual tensions. Several episodes are fascinating, however, and there's even one about a robot girl.
