Synopsis Harlock, Tochiro & Emereldas are called to planet Rhine to help Mime, the guardian of the planet's gold, prevent a re-run of the Wagnerian story. Alberich forges his ring and heads off to confront Wotan and conquer the universe. Harlock and the Arcadia crew have to stop him.

Review I've only seen one episode (in Italian). Hovever it must be said that a series in which ethereal women engage in soulful organ music, and a out of control space-ship (with pirate galleon styling features) crash-lands on a planet and skids horizontally to a halt (instead of making a big smoking impact crater) is long on style and short on plausibility.
