Fantasy Novel

Notes From the manga by Taeko IKEDA, published in Ciao magazine.
Genre(s): super hero, comedy, junior high school, shoujo
Classification shoujo
Synopsis A magical-girl school story. The heroine Karin (Kassie in the German edition) acquires a magical mirror and a little yellow pig with super powers. Karin gets things a little muddled, so that whenever she invokes her new powers she turns not into a cool super-heroine, but into a pink super-pig! Piggy warns her to use her power to help others, and not for selfish reasons.
Review Look out for the business with the shell, the pearls and the jewel box thing at the end of the episode. Original character names include: Karin, Kouichi, Keiko.
Anyway, the character designs are very pretty and colourful and the episode I saw, about a tennis challenge match, was definitely fun. Another episode I saw later wasn't so good. This series has been sold to several countries, but I'd rate it well below Hime-Chan's Ribbon or Blue-Green Years. However it's easy to believe that these characters are like real people.
