{"id":1581,"date":"2015-02-21T11:46:41","date_gmt":"2015-02-21T11:46:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sandg-anime-reviews.net\/?p=1581"},"modified":"2015-02-21T11:46:41","modified_gmt":"2015-02-21T11:46:41","slug":"winter-anime-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sandg-anime-reviews.net\/?p=1581","title":{"rendered":"Winter anime 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I checked out most of the new Winter 2015 anime shows, but found the majority of them uninspiring.<br \/>\nI am continuing to follow the charming<strong> Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso<\/strong> (Your Lie in April).<br \/>\n Kosei&#8217;s mother kept pushing him hard to become a concert pianist, but he can&#8217;t play piano ever since he failed in a competition at age eleven when his mother died. One day, he meets a girl, Kaori, playing music with some kids in a park. She is a brilliant if eccentric violinist and invites him to her concert. Soon, the bewitching Kaori is badgering him to take up piano again, and he is also being hassled by the Girl Next Door, to the same end. The GND is in love with Kosei, though she doesn&#8217;t realise it yet.<br \/>\nThis is good fun &#8211; the girls are outrageously pushy &#8211; and the music is good. The show tends to alternate &#8216;drama&#8217; and &#8216;music&#8217; episodes. <\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_1582\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1582\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandg-anime-reviews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/kamisama.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sandg-anime-reviews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/kamisama.jpg\" alt=\"Kamisama hajimimashite\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1582\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.sandg-anime-reviews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/kamisama.jpg 400w, http:\/\/www.sandg-anime-reviews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/kamisama-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 85vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1582\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kamisama hajimimashite<\/figcaption><\/figure>For Winter 2015 we have second seasons of <strong>Kamisama Hajimemashita<\/strong>, and <strong>Durarara!!<\/strong>.<br \/>\nKamisama Hajimemashita, about a schoolgirl who becomes a shrine goddess and her foxy familiar, continues to be charming.<br \/>\nDurarara!! continues to be inventive, but the plot is confused and there are too many characters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I checked out most of the new Winter 2015 anime shows, but found the majority of them uninspiring.
