| Synopsis | |
| Review | Kokuhaku no Kotoba no nai Kuni (the land without words of a confession) by MONCHI Kaori (Biblos) For some reason, it's a collection of her rather serious shorts. She does many comedy, too. But I certainly believe serious stuff are far better. It's much setsunai (<- please someone give me English equiverent of this word ;_;) and leave you much more in a shock. I guess her take on a not-exactry-dream-like cruel reality works effective in serious than a comedy. The title manga is set in seems-like some middle east asian country (contume, surrouneded by the desert), kinda triangle (of course all of thme male) relationships, involving a class differnece, a slave and a manster motif. The follow up is also veri nice. I also liked Jpns time piece one. Might make you cry. (Mikiko Yoshida) |
